Blockchain is here to stay and is likely to transform every industry that involves a supply chain. In fact, over 70% of Fortune 500 companies have either started to implement blockchain or are planning to do so in the near future. It’s definitely time for a business to get involved with blockchain if they want to get ahead. However, by no means does that mean to develop their own blockchain platform or infrastructure! Many blockchain services are already available to companies in various industries. Businesses need to start navigating this new and confusing space and hire professionals who can help them do so. I envision a new industry entirely called blockchain transformation, which will follow digital transformation and dictate to the companies new best practices when it comes to the security, privacy and usability of blockchain networks and systems integrated with business operations. Businesses need to start learning about how to implement blockchain in their workflow as well as create a solid through leadership in the space if they wish to get ahead.
